Port of Middlesbrough

Positioned on the River Tees, the Port of Middlesbrough provides multimodal logistics solutions across a number of sectors including energy and renewables, construction, agriculture, automotive and waste.

Operated by AV Dawson, it’s the only port in the region with heavy and high access, while also boasting deep-water berths and an onsite ships agency. The facility supports all intermodal needs, with four market-specific rail terminals linked to the East Coast Main Line, alongside an extensive road haulage fleet capable of transporting a wide range of cargo types, such as dry bulk goods, automotive metals and containers.

The 100-acre site offers extensive warehouse and storage options, including on and off port warehousing, climate controlled metals storage, lay down areas and 42-metre-high fabrication halls, ideal for large fabrication projects.
